Marshall aces audit to provide C-130H maintenance training under new regulations

Marshall has formally gained approval to provide maintenance training for the fleet of C-130H aircraft operated by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF).

The approval, granted by the Netherlands Military Aviation Authority (NLD-MAA), demonstrates full compliance with new Military Aviation Requirements for aircraft maintenance training organisations (NLD-MAR-147), and follows an extensive application process during which Marshall’s application was sponsored by RNLAF.

The process included a rigorous audit of Marshall’s training syllabus, training materials, staff competence and facilities, with exemplary ratings achieved in every area. The auditor specifically called attention to the “huge amount of work” conducted in preparation, as well as Marshall’s “very professional approach” throughout the process.

Marshall has been supporting the RNLAF’s C-130H fleet for over two decades, including the signing of a 14 year contract in 2018 to sustain the RNLAF’s C-130H fleet through to its out-of-service date.

The approval coincides with the renewal of a four year total sustainment contract between Marshall and the RNLAF, further strengthening this enduring relationship.
