StandardAero Acquires Aero Turbine Inc. to Expand Military Engine and Accessories MRO Capabilities
StandardAero announced today that it has acquired Aero Turbine Inc., a comprehensive provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services and consultative repair solutions for military engines and accessories from Gallant Capital, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm. Founded in 1978, Aero Turbine Inc. is located at the Stockton Metropolitan Airport in northern California.
Aero Turbine Inc. represents StandardAero’s 13th acquisition since 2015 and the company employs nearly 200 highly skilled and experienced technicians and operates from its fully integrated 60,000+ square feet Stockton facility that also includes an outdoor engine test cell.
Aero Turbine Inc.’s fully integrated facility provides engine component repair and MRO services and value-added engineering services for U.S. and foreign military customers. Customers include U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, foreign militaries, Magellan Aerospace and ATAC, a Textron company.
Aero Turbine Inc. is an FAA Repair Station that services J85, J69 and J79 engines and accessories that power T-2, T-37, T-38, F-5, A-37, F-4 and BAE Hawk aircraft worldwide.
