VAPS partners with Lynx to meet the evolving demands of modern Avionics display systems

PACE Aerospace & IT (PACE) is pleased to announce a new partnership with Lynx Software Technologies (Lynx). PACE is leader in the development of interactive real-time graphical HMI solutions for complex safety-critical applications, and Lynx Software Technologies, an OceanSound Partners portfolio company known for its modular software solutions designed to enhance the economics of high-assurance Mission Critical Edge platforms.

This partnership reinforces the market leading technologies of PACE and Lynx, providing the PACE and Lynx teams the ability to test and pre-integrate jointly to support the growing demand for complete solutions. Taking advantage of the innovative and flexible architecture of VAPS XT as an object-oriented component-based HMI environment with the Lynx Software supports the ability for users to develop partitioned HMI software and multiple DAL levels within a proven environment.

Matt Jackson, Technical Product Manager of Embedded Graphics and HMI commented. “After working with Lynx for many years with the VAPS Tools and our customers I am really pleased to see this formal agreement that allows us to work more closely. The VAPS and Lynx software have been successfully deployed onto multiple airborne solutions and this agreement will allow us jointly to continue to support this into the future”

“We are pleased that PACE is collaborating with Lynx to integrate their real-time HMI solutions with our modular software platform, MOSA.ic,” said Al Maillet, Chief Revenue Officer at Lynx Software Technologies. “PACE’s graphics applications, particularly in avionics systems, complement our focus on high-assurance platforms. Together, we strive to meet the evolving demands of the aviation industry with innovative solutions.”

Andrea Bassi, Head of Embedded Graphics and HMI at PACE, commented, “We are excited to partner with Lynx to support the aviation market in pushing the boundaries of mission-critical technologies. This partnership ensures that we can continue to deliver innovative HMI solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, security, and safety, supporting the next generation of platforms.”
